Caramelised Onion, Walunt and Blue Cheese Tart

Ingredients
Caramelised Onions:
2 red onions – finely sliced
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Salt and Pepper
Tart:
1 sheet flakey pastry
1 cup caramelised onions
125 grams creamy blue cheese, crumbled
½ cup roughly chopped walnuts
3 eggs
½ cup cream
Salt and pepper
How to cook
Caramelised Onions:
Preheat oven to 180°C. Place all ingredients in an ovenproof dish. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Stir and cook a further 20 minutes uncovered.
Tart:
Preheat oven to 200°C. Place pasty in a tray and cook for 10 minutes. Spread onions over pastry then crumble the cheese and walnuts over top.
Mix eggs, cream, salt and pepper and pour over top. Cook at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until set.
